the 19th and 20th century was all about getting rid of totalitarian regimes such as monarchies and dictatorships. so that we now have established widespread democracy throughout the world, we should think what's the next step.
the more i think about it, the clearer it get's to me that the struggle of the 21st century can only be to overthrow government and get rid of states at all! the pursuit of anarchy is the biggest challenge mankind can possibly face, yet the most worthwhile and fulfilling you can devote your life to.
and yes it is my true and honest believe we can do without states, without police and even without money. it is a long way down the road, but a very exciting one.

Digirati ist gestartet

Wer meine Technik-Inhalte abseits der Kleinen Zeitung oder Tiroler Tageszeitung lesen will, ist dazu herzlich eingeladen. Weiter gratis und hoffentlich auch gut – aber eben nicht mehr auf diesem Blog, sondern bei digirati.eu. Digirati ist gerade erst gestartet – aber es gibt doch schon einiges.

Was bringt dir digirati?

  • Das Morning Briefing informiert täglich um 08:00 Uhr über die Top 3-Stories aus der Tech-Welt, über die man redet. Plus: Link des Tages, Zahl des Tages etc.
  • In der Rubrik BigIdeas verschenke ich Geschäftmodelle. Wirklich!
  • Interviews, Analysen, Screencasts und noch viel mehr werden noch kommen.
  • Ein Podcast ist auch vorgesehen … die Pressestunde mit Gerald Reischl & Co. wird unter digirati schon bald wieder auferstehen.

Schon jetzt gibt’s zumindest einen Artikel am Tag, das soll sich bald schon auf drei bis vier Posts erhöhen. An der Site wird noch heftig gearbeitet, aber eine Richtung ist hoffentlich schon erkennbar!

In den ersten beiden Monaten verschenke ich Werbefläche. Start-ups und NonProfit-Initiativen aus der Technik-Welt können sich drum bewerben. Im April geht es damit los.

Liger last week at the Rhiz. I was a huge fan when I first heard his music, but can't say I followed his career very closely since then. But wow, his, or I should rather now say their live show has really improved since I saw Dino years ago at the Shelter with some awful screamo band as his opener: This was intense and lots of fun. They still sound utterly like Xiu Xiu to the point where we found ourselves humming melodies and quoting lines from Xiu Xiu songs during the gig, but that just increased the entertainment value... don't miss that show when he comes back to Vienna.
